About Us

Michael Carr

Michael has been working in journalism and broadcasting since 2001.
He has been a contributor to a wide variety of publications including the Sunday Tribune, The Irish Times, Irish Examiner, Hot Press, Irish Independent and Evening Echo among others.
He was formerly deputy editor at Inside Cork newspaper, before becoming editor of the Cork Independent, a position he held for three years. During this time he helped with the launch of the Limerick Independent, editing the paper and forming the editorial team during its initial stages.
He is also well known to radio listeners in Cork through his weekly Irish new music show The Green Room which he has presented since 2003 on Cork's 96FM, where he also produces and presents the daily entertainment news bulletin, Access All Areas. He has also been a contributor on TV3, Newstalk and London's XFM.

David Forsythe

David Forsythe has more than a decade's experience working in journalism. He has contributed to a diverse range of publications including the London Evening Standard, Sydney Morning Herald, South China Morning Post, The Irish Post and many others. In Ireland he was most recently the News Editor at the Cork Independent, Ireland's biggest weekly free newspaper.
David has also worked in political PR and consultancy for many years. His clients have included many TDs, senators, councillors and candidates as well as political parties.
He is currently a member of the Cork Advisory Group for children's charity Big Brother, Big Sister.
